Visual Arts Eye Covid Policy – Fall 2021
Workshop Attendees: For people who are not vaccinated, masks volition be required at all workshops.
The exception to this is the Loma Country Atelier and wheel throwing pottery classes. Due to the shut contact and essential one on one discourse with the instructor and other students, a vaccination is required. Proof of vaccination must be submitted prior to taking these courses.

Beginner's Copper Foil Stained Drinking glass Workshop with Rienna Novy
No skills needed for this form. Bring a friend or neighbor and come join u.s. for this fun and exciting course. Encounter if stained drinking glass is something you would exist interested in before making the investment in supplies and tools. Please wearable work apparel.
Skills taught in this workshop:
- The basics of pattern preparation
- Glass cutting techniques
- Copper foil construction
- Soldering a stained glass panel
Students will complete a copper foil project. There will be three patterns to cull from.

Landscape Painting with Roger Parsons
This workshop is for Intermediate-to-advanced painters, with a goal of elevating your piece of work to the next level—From a "pretty picture" to a work of Fine art! We'll employ photos and plein air studies in the studio. We'll cover technical elements, especially Composition, Value and Colour—with a particular emphasis on value keys and color chords—how to come across & mix paints to get values and colors that work in the painting, and make the painting work!

Powertex Grape Leaf Bowl with Sue Haberer
Powertex is a highly versatile product that makes about porous surfaces difficult and atmospheric condition resistant. Skills taught in this workshop:The basics of design preparation – Glass cutting techniques – Copper foil construction – Soldering a stained drinking glass panel – Soldering a finished edge . Students will complete a least one copper foil project. You volition exist able to make additional sunday catchers if time allows. There will be ane pattern with multiple color choices.

Register early on to insure participation in the workshop. Delight send total tuition if registering less than thirty days before your workshop begins. If yous are registering more than 30 days in advance, please ship at least a deposit of 1/ii the full tuition of your workshop to hold your identify. The balance is due thirty days prior to the offset day of the workshop.
Cancellation Policy
- Unless otherwise stated, deposits are refundable, less a handling fee, if you lot cancel 30 days or more before the start of the workshop. The cancellation notice may be sent by mail or e-mail.
- If you cancel less than thirty days before the first of a workshop, you will forfeit the tuition for that workshop. Notwithstanding, you may have someone nourish the workshop in your place, or you may donate your spot as a scholarship and you will receive confirmation of the donation to HCAF, a 501 (c) (iii) not-profit system. No exceptions can be made to this policy, including personal or medical emergencies.
- Deposits may exist practical to some other workshop if counterfoil is made within 30 days earlier the workshop.
- In the event that a class is cancelled by HCAF a full refund volition be made.
